The feedback we have received throughout the year speaks for a very positive acceptance of our position papers by the dental academic community worldwide. As these guidelines are moving towards implementation or have lead to changes in universities in many parts of the world, it is important to discuss strengths and weakness, identify models and best practices of existing programmes and exchange experience.

A kick-off meeting is scheduled at the side of the ADEE Congress in Helsinki. Our group will convene on THURSDAY, August 27th at 13.00.

At this meeting, I would like to start the discussion on how we will deal with the following points:

- Evaluation of the impact of the position papers. What difference have we made? Have these guidelines started to get implemented and where?
- Find and share experiences on the implementation of the guidelines, identify difficulties, suggest improvements
- Continuously review, revise and place the guidelines in concept with latest developments through a peer-support network.

It is with great pride that we can announce the circulation of the Special Issue of the Eur J Dent Educ, devoted to the Proceedings of the workshop in Prague!

All 7 papers are now available on-line and the paper copies will be sent to all participants within the last weeks of February!
